Pre-Sue Instructions
In terms of pre-litigation, generally the jumping off point is to submit a Letter Before Action (LBA). This is also known as a pre-sue letter. We would send a letter to your debtor asking for payment within 7 days. You also have the option of strengthening the impact your letter will have by opting to send your debtor an email and/or text too!
If no payment is received after the 7 days we will then come back to you and ask if you want to take this to the court action stage although there is no obligation to do so.
